This Guy

Trained in design and photography - I’ve worked for some years within a broad spectrum of design projects such as branding, posters, editorial, web; always having film and photography as a side dish. I’m currently mostly dedicated to film and image making - adding to the process all the knowledge and background inherited from design thinking. This website features a selection of works that mostly fall into the moving image and image making categories.
 

Mixed Media Film Director + Image Maker

My work is marked by the use of a broad spectrum of tools that range from 2D digital animation, some 3D, illustration, graphic design, hand-crafted props and sets, stop motion, photography, film, audiovisual installations, etc.   

Compulsive Freelancer

Although in my early years I’ve worked exclusively for some design studios and agencies in Amsterdam, Barcelona and Vienna, most of my professional life has been as a freelancer. I’ve colaborated at canal Q for 2 years as art-director and co-owned Raquete Studio with my friend Afonso Gonsalves, between 2015 and 2019. Most recently I’ve teamed up with the ad agency Uzina for a year as a in-house film director. I’m currently building my studio with bare hands and preparing for a new chapter as a solo creator.
